HET TIJDELIJK VERBLIJF (The Temporary Stay) is besides an artist-in-residence available as Bed & Breakfast. Over here you can stay in a cultural environment located in a rural area. The former flower bulb farm is now the living and working place of visual artist Rolina Nell, who is in addition to her own art practice involved by art initiative id11. With id11 she realizes an artist-in-residence program and various art projects in and around the farm.

The farm is located near Rutten; in the Noordoostpolder and is a part of Flevoland the youngest province of The Netherlands. The province was created after World War I by draining the Zuiderzee. In the 1930's the Zuiderzee was closed from the North Sea.Since then, it has been called the IJsselmeer. The open space of the Noordoostpolder is impressive; it is a place where you can once again admire the stars. At the same time you are within reach of cities such as Leeuwarden, Zwolle and Lelystad. In the neighbourhood there are two museums. Museum Schokland is located in the old village, which was an island before the process of drainage. Museum Nagele is located in the new village, which was designed by i.a. Gerrit Rietveld in the 1950's. Nagele is the last of ten villages in the Noordoostpolder. The Noordoostpolder area is characterised by agriculture, fruit growing, tulip fields and the tulip route.
