DELFT OP ZICHT - 2013
In August and September 2013 id11 organized the artist-in-residence project DELFT OP ZICHT within the European network CreArt. CreArt is a collaborative venture between 13 European cities. Work of the participating artists: Alexander Glandien (au), Amaya Bombín (es), Dovile Bernadisiute (lt), Leonard Sherifi (it), Lieke Snellen (nl), Nino Strohecker (au), Ruta Butkute (lt) and Tvrtko Buric (it) can be seen in the booklet. Released on December 14th, 2013 during the seminar SHIFTING AiR STRATEGIES. The booklet can be ordered for € 5,- euros (excl. postage/porto) by id11.
A specificity of this AiR project was that each artist was connected to a curator. The curators contributed a small text about their encounters with the artists and the work which was made during DELFT OP ZICHT. The participating curators were: Anique Weve and Floor Cornelisse (Fam Ruim, Rotterdam), Coen de Jong (38CC, Delft), Iris Cornelis (gallery Iris Cornelis, Rotterdam), Ronald Boer (Satellietgroep, The Hague), Kiki Petratou (gallery Joey Ramone, Rotterdam), Piet de Jonge (curator e.g. RAW CHINA EXPO, chief editor WHAT'S UP. Worked as senior curator modern art at Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Museum Kröller Müller and Van Abbemuseum), Réka Deuten Makkai (art historian, Den Haag) and Weronika Zielinska (Upominki, Rotterdam).
onderZOEKT - 2011
For October and November 2011 id11 invited 10 artists to create site-specific work at a temporary location (an former office and a shop) in Delft. In a period of one month the artists worked towards a final public presentation. Participating artists: Egied Simons (nl), Guda Koster (nl), Hester Plomp (nl), Ieke Trinks (nl), Marianne Hamersma (nl), Mark Swysen (be), Petra van Noort (nl), Rosa Everts (nl), Serena Lee (gb) and Stefan Hoffmann (de). The booklet from this project can be ordered for € 3,- euros (excl. postage/porto)
and is for sale at Liefhertje en De Grote Witte Reus in Den Haag, The
Netherlands.
op_LOCATIE - 2010
In addition to the temporary project space in the Poptahof neighbourhood,
id11 realized op_LOCATIE projects at five other locations
in Delft, The Netherlands. Art centre Kadmium invited id11 to launch the AiR
project DELFT OP ZICHT. At the exhibition space of creative laboratory
38CC, id11 curated the exhibition DE SPEELTUIN. id11 participated in the first Museum night of Delft
and was present at the Car Art festival.
From March until December 2010, twenty-seven artists created works of
art related to one of the locations. Each artist worked on their own project
proposal, sometimes within a specific theme. Presentations of the works
and lectures by the artists were given on a monthly basis. The booklet

FLAT_land - 2009
In 2009 id11 accomplished the AiR project FLAT_land. Approximately 85 artists
executed a project in an empty house or apartment of FLAT_land situated
in the Poptahof neighborhood, Delft. Among the participants
were around 37 international artists using id11’s artist-in-residence
program HET TIJDELIJK VERBLIJF. A book is published of the project FLAT_land
which gives an impression of FLAT_land. This booklet can be ordered at
id11 for € 5,- euros (excl. postage/porto).
